Our primary aims are to:

  • Ensure that the views of our members are represented at BVA Council. Through close consultation with the BVA Regional Representative for Yorkshire and Humberside, we aim to convey the opinions of Vets from a variety of Practice and Industry backgrounds across the region to BVA Central Council. As a diverse region, we provide a diverse range of views and we welcome any contributions from our members
  • Provide social forums such as the Annual Dinner Dance or Ripon Race event where our members can meet, socialise and discuss issues affecting them and the profession
  • Provide excellent local CPD for our members on  a variety of interesting and relevant topics delivered by knowledgeable and entertaining  Veterinary professionals from within the Region and beyond.
  • Provide recent graduate support meetings exclusively for those qualified 8 years or less
  • Communicate with local, regional and national bodies
